Week 1- Defining your Leadership style and establishing team culture
Including:
● Definition of and framework for Leadership
● Leadership Principles and Leadership Mission Statements
● Emotional Intelligence as a Leader and the use of active listening and body language
● Signs, Impact and Causes of a Toxic Culture
● 5 techniques to develop a strong Team Culture
Week 2- Building your Team
Including:
● Understanding Diversity and hiring to values
● Experienced vs non experienced hires
● Building your hiring strategy (EVP, social, reach outs)
● Interviewing questions/tips to make the right hire
● Creating an Induction plan and integrating new team members
Week 3- Creating Structure and accountability
Including:
● Micromanagement vs Structure- creating the ‘container of safety’
● Benefits and success stories of Creating Structure for high performance
● Developing a clear Road Map for performance (Annual Business Planning, Quarterly Reviews, 121's and KPI's)
● Useful meetings and making meetings productive
● Transparent communication for the greater good
Week 4- Career Pathways and Training your Team
Including:
● Completing a skills gap analysis (and determining skills gaps vs motivation gaps)
● Developing Career Pathways and effective Succession Planning
● The 4 types of Learners
● Creating individual training plans
● Creating training sessions for groups and holding space
Week 5- Performance Management
Including:
● The process of positive formal performance management
● Formal PEPS (Performance Enhancement Plans)
● Coaching your team members to address motivation gaps
● Providing constructive and positive feedback- how and when
● Handling resignations effectively
Week 6- Business Planning and Time Management
Including:
● Day Planning, Prioritisation and setting SMART goals
